Out of 18 key factors, the respondents defined 7 as the most important for their choice of the cafe where they will sit. Belgraders believe that it is crucial that a coffee shop be a quiet place for conversation and that it has friendly and pleasant staff. It is also important that there is free access to the Internet, and it goes without saying that the signal must be fast. Also, the garden, the view and the comfort of the chairs, ie. the armchair is very much appreciated.

Nevertheless, a very important factor is favorable prices, but it is not the most important factor, and if we were to rank them, these are the first three: A quiet place to talk (1), friendly staff (2) and favorable prices (3).
Research conducted in cooperation with InBar magazine and published in InBar magazine for December 2015.
Method
We used a random stratified sample of 12 zones in Belgrade, which included the center, city promenades, populated areas and the periphery. A total of 600 respondents participated in the survey, who visited any Belgrade cafe in the last two months (one screening question in total). The research tool was a survey, and the technique was “PAPI – F2F” (interviewing face-to-face with the help of a paper survey). The survey was specialized for the topic (it was not omnibus) and it concerned exclusively the topic of Belgrade cafes.
