🚗 The European auto industry is losing the market it created itself

📉 For decades, European car manufacturers have invested in the Chinese market, transferring knowledge, technology, and production standards. Today, those same Chinese brands — BYD, MG, Geely — are using that knowledge to conquer the European market, offering more for less.

💡 Instead of focusing on innovation, European manufacturers are trying to monetize basic functions. BMW has tried charging for heated seats through a subscription, while Volkswagen offers a surcharge for additional horsepower that is already physically present in the vehicle. Such practices not only irritate customers, but also demonstrate the strategic disorientation of the industry.

🇨🇳 China’s growth is not a miracle — it is the result of European inattention.
